Installation Guide
A step-by-step overview of professional Paint Protection Film and Automotive Window Film installation.
Professional Steps
Installation should be performed by certified professionals for best results and warranty compliance.
- 01Step 01
Clean & Prep
Thoroughly decontaminate the paint — wash, clay, and iron-remove. Panels must be 100% free of dust and oils.
- Use pH-neutral prep
- Allow surfaces to dry completely
- Inspect under bright light for defects
- 02Step 02
Pattern & Cut
Use pre-cut patterns from a digital template, or hand-trim after installation. Allow overlap for edges.
- Verify fitment before spraying
- Keep cut line off painted edges when possible
- 03Step 03
Slip & Tack Solution
Spray slip solution on the adhesive side and tack solution on the panel. This gives working time for positioning.
- Slip: distilled water + small amount of dish soap
- Tack: cleaner slip solution ratio for initial grip
- 04Step 04
Apply & Squeegee
Position and squeegee out solution from center outward, using overlapping strokes to eliminate air and water pockets.
- Use soft felt-edge squeegee
- Use heat gun on complex curves
- 05Step 05
Cure
Allow 48–72 hours minimum before washing. Full cure takes 3–7 days depending on temperature and humidity.
- Avoid car washes during cure
- Park indoors if possible
- Do not polish during cure period
Do's and Don'ts

Installation Questions
We strongly recommend professional installation. DIY installs rarely achieve the fit, seal, and longevity of trained installers — and warranties are tied to proper installation.
